SQL 2005 Cluster
Yesterday morning, I went to Emirates Transport HQ in Deira near the Airport and configured their SQL 2005 Cluster. It was a piece of cake (considering that they could have done this themselves), thanks to Brad McGehee for his nice article and his tutorials. Other articles and useful SQL Server information can be found in www.sql-server-performance.com. Also thanks to Google for giving me the correct path to righteousness!

Note: When using cables to connect private network cards of the clusters (it happens when the network guys are lazy to connect it to the switch or it just doesn't have available ports), be sure to use straight network cables. I don't know the theory about it but ahmm...the cluster failover didnt work when we used a cross cable. Hope this helps.

A quiet week
It has been a quiet week, have done normal routines and nothing really major happened. Along came with is my stupid cold and slight fever, but i guess now I'm ok. Anyways if someone who has read my blog and someone is interested in contacting me, here is my new domain email address:

Friday Maki
Yesterday, was japanese lunch with tasteful California Maki made by Maki-master Haydee and padawan Joanne. It was a real treat! thanks Boj & Haydz! Next time Kuya will prepare Menudong Marikina (made in Las Pinas/Bacoor)

My Coffee Carafe splattered!
Just when you thought you were having a good time and having warm sips of home made coffee made from starbucks beans, suddenly you hear a loud splattering sound of glass breaking.....
Carafe splattered to pieces with the feet of the culprit :
It reminded me something about living in this life i refer to as the MATRIX......
Sometimes, life is a mess.... And sometimes you get to clean other people's mess as well!

Eat Bulaga in Dubai
It was real fun watching Eat Bulaga again, live in Dubai! Last time i watched them live was like in 2002 when they were in Baguio for Panagbenga Festival. Anyway they made alot of our kababayans happy that night. 
It sure have been more fun if i were able to have a picture with TVJ and the other cast, specially with Lian & Belle of EB Babes....bummer
